We produce the reducing mill with many specifications and structural types. The reducing mill refers to the critical equipment located behind the puncher and pipe mill in the seamless pipe production line and used for further rolling, stretching and finishing the steel pipe. The stretch reducing process refers to a process of carrying out continuous rolling on billet tube in a series of rolling racks arranged, and among which, the outside diameter of billet tube can be continuously reduced with the appropriate hole series.
In the meantime, we can get the change in predetermined diameter and wall thickness by adjusting the revolving speed ratio of roller in rack series.
The reducing mill has main structural composition: rack assembly, main transmission device, square rack, roll change carriage, trolley transmission device, pushing and pulling mechanism, exit and entrance lifting roller device, etc.
Classification of reducing mill:
It is divided into high-stretch reducing mill and slight-stretch reducing mill according to the size of tension coefficient between racks.
1) Slight-stretch reducing mill
The slight-stretch reducing mill refers to the reducing mill having less number of rolling racks (less or equal to 14 racks) and building the small tension coefficient between rolling racks.
2) High-stretch reducing mill
The high-stretch reducing mill refers to the reducing mill having more number of rolling rack (generally more than 14 racks) and capable of building the bigger tension coefficient (generally greater than 0.75) between the rolling racks; and the number of rolling rack of reducing mill in the seamless steel pipe production line is inversely proportional to the standby tools required by puncher and pipe mill in front of it, and the finished pipe with different specifications can be produced with few specifications of billet tubes.
The transmission is divided into DC individual transmission and centralized differential transmission according to the different drive modes.
1) DC individual transmission
Each rack is driven by separate DC motor, and has simple structure, flexible speed adjustment, big range, wide product specification, and big production capacity.
2) Centralized differential transmission
The centralized transmission has good speed stiffness, namely, the motor is slowed down when the rolled pieces are bitten, but the rolling speed of reducing mill is only affected, without changing the speed ratio between the racks. The electrical control system is relatively simple, and has saved investment, compact structure, easy operation and convenient maintenance.
